I reached the guest house
Along with my companion,
In hope of meeting them
And new prepared tea for us
But neither she did say anything
Nor did she make smile.
We felt unhappy, though we
Enjoy the time spent
With her drunkard father-in-law.
Shortly after a quick handshake
And we started our way back,
The bride never said a word.

Strange things too happen in the world we are familiar with! Nice one!
