The Simple Light Poem by ashok jadhav

The Simple Light

I found a spark in morning dew,
A silver thread across the grass;
No grand event, no golden crown,
Yet joy was there, and it would pass.
The kettle sang its gentle song,
Steam curling like a fleeting dream;
A child's small laugh, a neighbor's wave,
All simple things, yet more than they seem.
The sunlight fell on dusty floor,
And danced with motes in quiet grace;
A breeze slipped in through open pane,
And brushed the sorrow from my face.
I saw the world in whispered ways,
In petals soft, in birds' refrain;
In laughter shared with passing friend,
In shelter from the summer rain.
No wealth, no glory, no proud acclaim,
Could match the peace these moments gave;
For joy that lives in little things
Is strong enough to fill the brave.
So I will walk through everyday,
And watch the light in common space;
For in the small, the unnoticed heart,
I find the world's most gentle face.
