The Sleepless Dreamer Poem by Brandon Owens

The Sleepless Dreamer

Rating: 5.0

The Sleepless Dreamer descends
A staircase from heaven's bind
The collection of their dreams
A revelation of the divine
The world invented is rich
Perfect in its design
The world perceived is twisted
Misconceived and redefined
Construction starts on the world
Built on the faults of our mind
Our fleeting memories of reality
Shift with the sands of time
The Sleepless Dreamer transcends
These false sorrows of our kind
Six days rallied forth the boy
In himself he was satisfied
And on the seventh day, he resigned
