The Snake Poem by verna ralph

The Snake

A snake slithering through the grass
Hunting for its prey
Camouflaged in its enviroment
Un seened by its victim
He strikes fast
He abides in the darkness of his den
planing and scheming every day
One thought in mind.to find its prey
He stocks his victim, then he strikes
His adrenalyn over flows
His evil mind exposed
A child is abducted today
A Mother morns
