A flower blossomed in my garden
Shines its light all through the day
Array of colours reflect the sunlight
That radiates from its heart of gold
Emiting loving vibrations
It multiplied in the years ahead
Over the country it did spread
Sowing its seed along the way
Joy and tenderness it brought forth
Each and every day
The fragrance of the flower
Is pleasing to the gods
The aroma fills the air
People come to see
The beautiIful flower that grows there
The flower is my daughter
I thank God from up above
For sending me such treasure
In my garden of love

flowers that bloom in our own garden, we nurture it with love to grow in a beautiful princess.........great. a 10.
...and what a wonderful flower she must be, soil delicately tilled, watered perfectly, the sun's everyday kiss and room to grow to her fullest.
Beautiful poem...I have two flowers(daughters) in my garden of love.
a well written poem fragrance rich of motherly love...thanks for sharing, Verna...10
'The flower is my daughter I thank God from up above For sending me such treasure In my garden of love' Wonderful Verna, wonderful. Yes daughter/son is the best flower from the God to one's garden of love. Lovely poem, with my 10 of love.

This is a very touching poem. I love it - I can almost smell the scent of flowers and wonder if your daughter knows how her mother writes such a lovely poem in honour of her. Well done!
