The Soldier Must Be Poem by Joe Moore

The Soldier Must Be

Boom, Boom, there goes another soul,
Another person in a six foot hole.

Bang, Bang, she lies on the ground,
A pool of blood all around.

Crumble, Crumble, one more building down,
A Church full of meaning in town.

Bam, Bam, rockets hit over, and over,
This would be the life without the soldier.

As long as evil exist so must good,
Good found in soldiers, fight they would.

Here comes evil, stop it the soldiers must,
Terrorist, murderers, our lives they lust.

As long as the enemy seeks our life,
The soldier must be, striking like the tip of a knife.
