The ‘soulistic’ Partner In Earthly Life Poem by Dr John Celes

The ‘soulistic’ Partner In Earthly Life

Many are the friends who appear in life;
Just one or two only assist in strife;
But to be the best and long-lasting one
Is like becoming the moon or the sun.

Yet, being close to one’s heart is no joke;
’Tis like the habit of drinking much coke;
But being one’s love is tougher to part,
And rarely some manage to be one’s heart.

No one would give the heart to next with ease;
But who would give his precious life and cease?
Only some turn to be akin your life;
The rare soul’s everything in love and strife.
