The Sour Valentine....
we are sorry
for the blind and the
deaf-mute
your valentine is here
but not that late
the years did not
strengthen him
he had become blind and
deaf and mute
the drudgery made him
so much of a fool
he will not give you
roses and chocolates
he had long believed
inside his mind the uselessness
of these endearments
the roses wilted
and the chocolates melted
as for him
sunny days are blunders.
