The Spark Poem by Ena Di Rocco

The Spark

You always made me feel safe,
I was never afraid.
Even when I wasn’t brave,
You made the fear fade.

You would always come,
To rescue me.
Where did you come from,
And why did you flee.

Now you’re gone,
And I am scared.
What have I done,
That you haven’t cared.

The night was too dark,
Was it true?
Did we loose the spark,
Please give me a clue.

Hoping,
To see your eyes.
Believing,
You’re not like other guys.
