The Split Poem by scott orlob

The Split

Leaving your side never feels right.
I dont like it when we have to say goodbye.
I never know the next time im gonna see your eyes.
Or the next time im gonna kiss your lips, hold your hands in mine.
This isnt so fine leaving you behind.
I wish you were closer not farther but yet i also dont want to be a bother.
Jus would be nice to see you everyday to sit with you and stay not to fade and go away.
But you live in hollister and i live in san jose who cares about the distance lets jus be persistant.
See eachother more but i know we cant afford these out
outragous gas prices i know there a pain in our asses.
But seeing you on the the weekends is wonderful to i would love forty eight hours but twenty four will do.
I can not lie cuz i love being with you so when i say 'leaving your side never feels right' im mean it im being true it never feels right leaving you.
