The Spotty Egg Poem by Ojaswee Das

The Spotty Egg

I saw a big spotty egg
which was large and really rough
I did think of an omelet
But breaking it was tough

I tried using hammers,
nails and all the tools
I even tried my own head
making me look like a fool

I tried a lot and tried again
Although I knew I'd failed
but then appeared a little crack
No bigger than my nail

And then popped out a dragon
which could breathe out in flames
It burned the whole garden
leaving me just the blames
