The Spring Afternoon (For G.G.) Poem by John O'Malley

The Spring Afternoon (For G.G.)

Rating: 5.0

Riding boots on
You came forward in the manner of sorrow

At my window
One red flower a humming bird found

All the while that sunny afternoon
Tears trailed each and every room

You lost your blue sky
My heart then knew
In forever dust
