The Stage - Poem by Jonathan Marsh

When I walk out as the light comes up
I feel the doors of heaven touching my toes
I can be any one, do any thing
I can fly, I can die, I can be or I cannot
I can be a villain or a saint
I could be God
When I walk across the stage
The stage becomes me
I become the stage.
