The Stilted Take- Off Poem by Kumaara Sukeja

The Stilted Take- Off

THE STILTED TAKE- OFF

Much vaunted for his skills, the pilot
Turned out to be, on the contrary, a nut!
Paid on the nail, positioned the craft oblong-
Dispiriting the designers who were on a song-
Crash-landed, sadly, struck by winds quite strong:
The poor Wright Brothers wondered 'WHAT went wrong? '
