The Storm Poem by Ray Hansell

The Storm

Rating: 4.5

I know the rain is falling
I hear it running down the spout
I am so very thankful
I do not have to go out

It's supposed to rain for a while
With no letup in sight
It's better off to stay indoors
On a wild winter's night

Inside it's warm and cozy
As love keeps us warm
Huddled together on the couch
Safe, from a raging storm
