The Storm - Poem by James Vergara

I'm stuck in these clouds
Most grey, but some white
And I would like to escape
But I refuse to chase the light
For Ive tryed once before
And quickly seemed to fail
So I simply gave up
I was too weak and too frail
So Instead I went deeper
Searching within
Looking for an answer
But didn't find anything
So I learned to just live
With all that was given
But I had to move on
For that simply wasn't living
The rain never stops
It seems to be endless
The winter that just passed
Was cruel and relentless
But now it is spring
And for you it might be warm
But these clouds are my life
And I'm heading for a storm
