The Strugle Poem by olawuyi Oluwole

The Strugle

I wish that I could escape this struggle, or escape the mind set that creates this struggle,

I'll debate this struggle, with other's that I know can relate this struggle,

So I can take this struggle and erase this struggle.

I turn from the struggle, but I learn from the struggle, I have concern for the struggle, because I burned in the struggle,

I can't go far when I slither like a worm in the struggle, need to stand like a lion so firm in the struggle.

I need to accept what I get in the struggle, I sit in the struggle, please don't spit on the struggle,

We don't quit in the struggle, It's legit in the struggle, We'll wear it if the shoe fits in the struggle, Trying to stay positive in the struggle.

There's some good in the struggle, We should in the struggle, do what we could in the struggle, and we would in the struggle, do what we should in the struggle, For a while I would shed my tears and blood in the struggle.

This struggle might not be her struggle or his struggle, But if you struggle struggling, you'd understand this struggle, I either cope or can't stand this struggle.

I've written this struggle, and admitted this struggle, I'm hoping that I'll someday come to grits in this struggle...
