The Stygian Cave (2009) Poem by David Joel Rodriguez

The Stygian Cave (2009)

Rating: 4.5

Propelling across...detected
yet another beautiful forest...
Years traveling enclosed land
this time I gently approached
Aristocratically, I land my ship
A different domain is accessed
An owners permit is endured
An anticipating plunge awaits...

Perhaps lured to scented sweat
ravishing the ground and crest
Delicately indulge where I stand
sounds arise and tenderly poached
an awaiting lust was worth the trip
can't stay long and will be missed
depth accomplished, walls secured
a devoured soul with amazing taste
