The Subliminal Verses 6 Poem by David Powley

The Subliminal Verses 6

This life is not meant for living it's meant for enjoying
So what am I doing?
I am the girl who wanted to be god
Because no one knows what it's like to be me
These are some of my truths now tell me yours
Are we alive or are we living
Do we care that we are just being?
Is it easier to see or to be?
Nothing really matters to me
Is this a livelihood or entertainment?
Freedom of speech in containment
I'm sick of being sick
These are some of my truths now tell me yours
On one hand, I'm indecisive; but on the other, I'm not.
I can't make my mind up
I have my doubts about disbelief.
My identity lies in not knowing who I am.
There's no such thing as nonexistence
