The Sweet Angel Poem by lynnsey rohlfing

The Sweet Angel

Rating: 5.0

A woman who lost her way through a man who stood in her way
she prayed to the lord to take her away away form the pain
at night she cry's softly hoping he doesn't hear for she is fear
he broke down a woman who once stood tall and proud
with every punch and every kick she crumbled
as days pass she soon starts to grasp she isn't going to last
she fights through the night as once more he holds her neck tight
as morning rays rise a sweet angle says goodnight
