The Sweet Sound Of Death Poem by Olamide Osanyingbemi

The Sweet Sound Of Death

The Sweet Sound of Death

The sweet sound of Death came thrunding down
After the last breath of a dying man.

The world mourns but Death rejoices,
For it is gain on its path.

The world weeps but Death merry,
For it's time to harvest.

Why cry? When the sound of Death is melodious!
Why weep when it's time for Death's bountiful harvest?

Your life is a token which was given as an usury,
Which you have to pay back to the coffer of Death where it comes from.

The mourner mourns while Death sings sweet melodies
For its bountiful Harvest.
