The Sweetest Memories Fade The Fastest... Poem by Brett White

The Sweetest Memories Fade The Fastest...

Rating: 5.0

The sweetest memories fade the fastest,
And in our minds, we wish they could all last;
Beyond the Present, for Eternity:
Two stars held closely by Destiny.
Forever shining in Heaven's Glory,
A psalm passed down, like a bed-time story.
And days pass like leaves falling mid-August,
Forever oblivious to the wind's gust.
The seasons change, forever re-arrange,
And forever, we hope and wish to be unchained;
Free from monotony and our vices,
Always seeking positive enterprises.
Risk not Faith in the name of temptation,
And in Peace and Love find True Salvation.
