The Talk Poem by kalyan mech

The Talk

Do you remember
The talk in that radiant evening.
How with the rhyme of our slow steps
We shared many whispers and trembling words.
Hope today also you remember those.

You explained to me the bond of two hands,
How my fingers combine with you,
How the lure of your dazzling glare
Always thrills my heart to core.
Do you remember, you kept on saying: talkative.

Then you explained the pathetic aloofness
Of sun and moon; how he request the stars to make moon smile.
Simultaneously, two stream poured down your dry cheeks
And you tighten our hands knot.
Do you remember, you said, 'i am feeling your palm's warm'.

Then dusk gradually crawled in everywhere,
I slowly whispered at you ear,
If some dark shadow stood before my face
And rebuked me, 'your journey ends here',
Dear, just leave my body behind and trend the incomplete path.
Don't foget, my soul is always your's.
