The Terrorist Poem by Sudhir Pohankar

The Terrorist

Rating: 3.5

Smile on face
Vitriol in heart
Animal mainly
Human in part

Fire in mouth
Blood in the eye
Indoctrinated mind
See, the terrorist guy!

Truth is mundane
Lies creative
Nomadic life
Restless, furtive.

A few bullets brought
The fateful end
There got over
The creative blend

An obituary is due,
To say:
Here lies an Errorist
Whose entire life
Was nurtured on lies,
Unbeknownst to him!
So, Errorist guy
Bid you
Final Good Bye...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
These feared men so often are the victims of the circumstances. Many of them are brainwashed and the seeds of hatred are planted so deep in them that their entire existence reeks with the poison it emits and pricks with the thorns it adorns. So often they are just errorists!
