The Things I Never Said Poem by Jorge Rolon

The Things I Never Said

I beg your pardon
I can see you're a garden
You have flowers in your eyes
and a smile that blossoms ties
I'm just a simple bee
and I want you all for me
We could make a beautiful meadow
If you're a flower of the color yellow
and I'm one of the color blue
I want to make green with you

Some nights I lay in bed
And think of the things I never said
Every time you are in my head
I regret the things I never said
The light never turned from red
That's why there's so much I never said

Everything about you made me fall
I wish we would've had it all
When you walked away
Was the hardest part of my day
I wanted to run after you
And let lips do what they do
I was set on winning your heart
And your lips was were I would start
Your hand was all I wished to hold
But I left this story untold

Some nights I lay in bed
And think of the things I never said
Every time you're in my head
I regret the things I never said
The light never turned from red
That's why there's so much I never said
So much I never said...
