The stains of yesterday all but gone,
not even traces remain.
It wasn't done in a day,
no.
Fresh memories stain them
Scratches of black etched across the floor
The wine spill many moons ago
All but Faded;
In twilight
the romance of melancholy
comes to life
The tiles that stain easily but also get cleaned away with time,
A sweep here and there
Unsullied the marks
Left long ago
Never seen before
Blotches appear,
The Doom of Fade
Looming over them.
The threat of wane written in their destiny
They too shall fade away with time
On the tiles that sweep memories.
