The Tree Poem by Vladislav Damaskinov

The Tree

Rating: 5.0

The tree was standing strong and firm
Planted by the river of tears
It’s leafs were red, like blood of lam
They whispered ancient fears

I walked beside it, watched it grow
And listened with joy
How all my thoughts just flew away
Like when I was a boy

And there, alone into the darkness
I saw the puzzle’s final part
There buried in the roots of sadness
Lies broken my immortal heart
