This poem is about what I think is happening now
Please dropp your things and look around
At the pain the sorrows the hearts on the ground
This man who says I love you is a stupid mistake
In fact he's no better than a rat or a snake
He sneaks and crawls, manipulating your mind
He lies and abuses, aren't any of these a sign?
That your children, you, and many other people you know
Might actually be affected by this wretched reckless show?
This man you say is the only one, can't you see he's really no fun?
He screams and yells and pushes and shoves
Why can't you see it? There is no love!
If you really are afraid to leave this man
Then tell someone, tell me, I'll do what I can
But unless you say something to some living being
Then I can do nothing... not one single thing
I love you mother with all of my heart
Why can't you see this man is tearing us apart?
He's mean, he's cruel, he's everything you're not
Why can't you see this terror he's brought?
