The Truth Pt 1
Banished into fond disclosure
Affecting a stirring of lungs;
Braced for these barbarous times
An azure sky opens, embellished with stars
Revoking the affirmation of hate.
Hearts positioned akimbo
come to amplify the way we search -
In jungles, cities or ourselves
for an ephemeral answer,
under an upturned rainbow we fall to hurt
but we continue, anyway.
