The Twins Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Twins

Rating: 5.0

Yes, we called them the twins
Several years ago
In Lavina, Montana, my friends
Where life just slowly flowed.

Not much going on there
Though several neighbors around
A few birds would tweet
Deer made a sweet gentle sound.

One of our trailers lived there
The perfect hunting retreat
The other traveled the USA
Made traveling comfy and sweet.

But neighbors bought our 20 acres
To run their horses on
Time changes things, you know
Nothing stays the same too long.

A lovely place for a short trip. The poem makes us crave for going to such a place which is otherwise not very hospitable. You have summed up your experience quite nicely.....'Nothing stays the same too long'. Thanks.
