The Twins Poem by Mikayla Griggs

The Twins

BOOM! CRASH! BANG!
As they collide

BOOM! CRASH! BANG!
As it echoes through the air

You start to hear the faint screams
As people run with terror
The smoke quickly covers the pale blue sky

You can see the people
As they scatter for safety
Running and running
Not knowing were to go

So confused as to what happened
Not sure if their coming or going

BOOM! CRASH! BANG!
As the towers get hit

BOOM! CRASH! BANG!
As it echos through the air

BOOM! CRASH! BANG!

They have fallen to the earth
They are no more
Say good-bye to the twins
The World Trade Center
