You and I

we are a different star alone

into life's mysterious universe

we're accidentally thrown


oscillating between

joy and sorrow

remnants of yesterday

uncertain of the morrow-


I and you

we are strangely orchestrated

in this nameless shore to meet

on ground ordained and consecrated?


Such a brief encounter

to bid farewell in the mist of today

a part of my heart to you I surrender

I've so few words to say.
