When someone you care about says you don't,
When someone you love says you despise,
Gets really hard to think,
Was it something I did?
Was it something I said?
Was it even anything?

This heart wonder,
If there'll be answers,
These thoughts wander,
If someday there'll be closure.

Is it me?
Is it her?
Is it us both?
I responded often.
Mostly with silence,
Big mistake it seems,
But I've nothing to redeem.

So once and for all,
Let's make it clear as crystal.
I love YOU
Because that's what family do.
