The Tyrant Poem by Genice Lorraine De Fabriciano

The Tyrant

An unwelcome visitor,
Showing up darkly bleak, dramatic, loud, chaotic
Arriving empty handed, yet,
Leaving with it's victims
Traumatic devastation has befallen
Unthinkable, the horrifying Unspeakable
Time is neither a friend or foe
When the unwelcome visitor comes,
Knocking fervently, abruptly, unexpectedly
Making it's scene!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When tragedy strikes family, friends, extended family, those you love and care about, and even acquaintances, or enemies..all you can do sometimes is fall on your knees and pray for mercy and miracles of healing for those who are trying to survive chalenges that are out of our control. I desperately pray in this darkness for as many Miracles I am able for someone struggling right now in a dramatic life situation. I also call out for peace and comfort for his wife, his children, and their families. Praying right now for God's healing and attention to my cousin's prayers. Bless them Lord. I pray the song "Blessed Jesus" over them right now as you play it in my ear and soul. Amen
