The Ugly Fish Poem by Spencer Clayton

The Ugly Fish

Maybe I belong in a septic tank,

You had a shock when you landed me on the bank,

I took Your Rapala as it went by,

You struck and I Jumped for the sky,

I fought for my life,

you played me right in,

I squeezed in the Net like a Sardine in a Tin.

Take your Photo's and Weigh me in,

I chewed your Rapala,

Now its fit for the Bin,

You show your photos of my ugly mug,

Posted on the forums,

Like a Ferox Thug.

Angler's always Stare,

Cus I'm different...I dont care,

look what happened to the ugly duckling one day,

I don't Hold my breath,

I Swim and Pray!
