The Uncontrolled Phenomenon Poem by Oti Egwu

The Uncontrolled Phenomenon

The flying wings of time now crawls
Day and night faces heavy mix of brawl
As i long for the cock to crow
Cos'my diverse thoughts are running amok
But standstill is the illuminating day

The morrow i see as decisive
The outcome of my fate i pray to be positive
My first try ended in shambles
But the hope to succeed never crumbled
And it led to a second shot
The patience of waiting i almost lost
Now sparks of hope burst on my sight
Indeed! a phenomenon of luck or blight

My expectations dwells on the best
So that my distressing mind should rest
And my fidgeting body to keep off stress
But again! it dived into murky waters of tragic history
With my feelings crushed as victims of blitzrieg
As Napoleon's men in waterloo
Like Man's exterminated braggadacio
Thus an uncontrolled phenomenon

What else could be done?
Nothing! But the praxis of continous trial
And hopeful faith that surpasses goliath
With prayers and hardwork as added sine qua non
Hence, a weaved tale of contol phenomenon
