The Unhappier Lot Poem by Nyx C Styx

The Unhappier Lot

Rating: 5.0

Doubt if in my love you're doubting
Doubt till sleep shall close your eyes
Till you forget to ask if beneath you
The soul of one who loves you lies

And sleep until that wet eye dries
And dream until my names forgot
Though you may be unhappy now
I was the happily unhappier lot
