To the unknown God,
who sits not on necklaces of gold
or bricks men mold.
Who sees your calabashes of clay
containing kola nuts that decay
at a junction far away.
He knows your beads of pebbles
that make light rumbles,
and cause much troubles.
He delights not in your sacrifices,
tithe or free will offerings
you use for sin coverings.
He is tired of your sacred work of arts,
endless ablutions, wicked acts
and foolishness which looks smart.
He delights not in your festivities
and renowned celebrities
but a heart truly broken and contrite.
Through one man alone,
He made Himself known
that all may know the unknown.
REHTSE Thinks out.
