The Unwritten Story Poem by Katie Nunes

The Unwritten Story

You could turn it upside-down,
Throw it on the ground,
Kick it down the street,
Step on it with your smelly, ol' feet,
But still it will never, ever happen-
You will never read the book of no words,
Until you stop and ponder among the birds.

Then you will realize
that the words are already there-
They have been spread throughout the air.

And you yourself
Will find the meaning
like a yound child playing hide-and-go-seek

But after your life's peek,
When darkness arrives,
The book will unravel,
Unless you write it down.
Don't let it unravel...
