The Valiant Unattended Poem by Pedro Cescon

The Valiant Unattended

Open your eyes,
If so you wish,
See me in the skies,
Solely if you wish,

But be aware,
That willing or not,
Your elusive stare,
For me is black dot,

Because you deem me no one,
Because I'm not what you like,
But the thing is that if I won,
That would be counter strike,

For now you can't avoid,
Seeing the likes of me,
And it'll you make you annoyed,
Cause it is what you wish to be,

And I don't even will say otherwise,
I don't think I hold much thing,
To make of it some apprise,
Or to use it to shout or to sing,

What I really mean to say,
Is that you may be wrong at that,
That if you judge my way,
Is changed by your biased chat,

For though you put me down,
I'll never cease my struggle,
And my promise that was shown,
I will win without your snuggle,

Cause what I have in me is trust,
That though you may despise my own,
I'll still keep on being my just,
And will keep on till my success has grown

That you're right saying I'm a fool,
I'll agree, say that, be my guest,
But that won't make my rule,
Cause fool yes... and also valiant at best
