The Valley Below Poem by Jay L. Morris

The Valley Below

Lately, I've noticed a sound in the air
of which I've never heard.

A sweet, soft sound coming from the valley...There!

Could a cause for joy exist,
down in the valley below?

When my nagging pain persists,
upon this rocky knoll?
