The Victory For All Poem by David Stateman

The Victory For All

Rating: 5.0

Following the footprint of his predecessors
For the highest office in the land of visionaries,
Though a man but stereotype,
His footprint clearly marks his pedigree.
His distinguished self draws almost everyone
For the occasion dubbed, the victory for all is borne.
Visitors, residents, compatriots cheer him,
On this day for the big dream
When the spirit of fairness and oneness
Has touched the land with his handiwork,
Creating path for many to track,
Making life here in this land,
Meaningful and purposeful to the end.
On this day of his victory,
Many turn to glory.
He speaks.He smiles.
He strides.
On this day of his victory,
In a land, Black and white,
a great number of people;
Plain living and plain thinking,
Now emerge to empathize with the big dream
On this day of his victory,
In a land far and near,
a great number of people
Peaceful and hopeful,
Powerful and lawful,
Now look beyond the color of the skin,
In order to remain keen.
On this day of his victory following the blazing path,
In a land that seems like ''a big melting pot
For the desires of the people withing and people outside''
In a land that seems like a big cooking pot,
where many are drawn to come and eat.
Life is worth living -every bodies right.
On this day of his victory,
Many look up to him
Because he believes
He can, ''you can ''we can''.
