The Void Poem by Aminath Neena

The Void

When dreams become fallen stars,
silence roams the skies

When wishes betray the heart,
the spirit within cries

When hopes procrastinate,
waiting is deprived of perseverance

When thoughts become floating debris,
words lose their essence

Where love is absent, the rose never blooms
Only futile emptiness looms
