The Void Poem by Thee Leltah

The Void

Drowning in the deep waters of sorrow,
the dark void of the infinite blackness of the night sky
Is all that lies yonder
The moon is without the stars
as i am without companionship
There is noone to talk to
so i break ice with the moon.
It tells me about the stars
With their little shimmering light
Soon to die out
and how badly it misses the Sun.
I look up to the night sky
Tears fall from my eyes
and i begit to tell it about my own friends
And how badly i miss my love.
I tell the moon everything about her
And in her absence,
how dim my light shines
