If I could rush through time
And get to that point in space
Where I first see you and our eyes meet, I would
Because it would be magically inexplicable and beautiful to put into words
I would be lost at the sight of you
And we would both smile into each other's eyes
Because we would know what would have just happened
We would know how far we have come from looking for each other,
And the pain we had to endure
My eyes would tell you and yours would tell me how every morning
We would wake up and lie in the bed for a while and think of each other
Your soft eyes would recite the story of your past
And my curious ones would absorb them for you
We would know how beautiful the summers would be at some beach side
Making castles in the sand and giggling over the passers- by
The winters would be misty and cold,
Sipping some coffee by the window of our cozy home
We would know how both of us would love the rains
Because the rains would talk of our love for each other over the rainbow and the sun
On the Sunday afternoons
We would talk of books and words
Where in you would amaze me with you love forwords
And I would lose myself to your thoughts
Someday while we take a silent walk
I would look into your eyes and it would all make sense
And that is when I would realize, why I had to wait
The wait was long and lonely
But it walked me to this moment
Where I can now say
Love is beautiful despite the pain
Because it has the two of us together in it
And that is what makes my world go round and round
