The Walkway Poem by Paul Larmour

The Walkway

where the sea soaks the sand
where the final hiss of salt fades away
where sand and sea are equal
a pathway is laid of liquid glass
a carpet of mercury
a lover's walkway
that mirrors a torn sky
we walk barefoot
on that silky sand
towards a ruby sunset of wine and roses
with loves mutterings on the breeze
