The Wall Of Abhorrence Poem by Kapali Kaali

The Wall Of Abhorrence

Rating: 5.0

Gods divide localities
With a wall of abhorrence
And say
You cannot enter this locality
He cannot enter that locality
And demarcate the areas
These are the homes of Hindus
These are the homes of Muslims
There are the homes of Christians
And when a Muslim enters a Hindu locality
Or When a Christian enters a Muslim locality
They say
How dare you enter in our locality
They call for land jihad
Shoot missiles
Make the borders bloody
With the blood of their own
Political gods appear in the scene
The localities become vote banks
The gods cannot allow
A Muslim or a Hindu to dilute it
All the ignorant stay divided
For the benefits of the gods.

Really a poignant creation insightfully crafted in persuasive expressions with conviction. A witty depiction of the ugly face of Religion. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
