The Wanderer With The Shine Poem by Deepali Rautela

The Wanderer With The Shine

when the first ray falls on her face,
waking her soul to wake up and embrace
when she feels something is not right,
she get up stand close to the mirror and see the shine.
shine covering all her darkness deep inside,
camouflaging each hatred and every lie.
she try and wash it off with the colorless water,
hoping it will absorb everything and turn black,
take away all the thoughts and evaporate into another world.
But my dear, your darkness still remains unsold.
trying to find solace, she work hard through her ways,
putting her best face forward, she mend with everyone like a clay.

she share the sadness, staring straight at her behind every eye,
she witness the happiness, fighting so hard to cover all the lies.

the whole earth awaits for her, to rule and touch the untouched heights.
visit the place hidden, hidden deep, away from the lights.
she is a nomad inside, stuck in this life and destined to suffer.

like a caged bird dying for the freedom to flutter.
flutter away to the limitless sky
oh dear, get up and fight: recognize your shine.

cant you see, you are suffocating me.
break away the chained desires and fly.
embrace the rays on your wings,
befriend the darkness and declare your triumph

let strangers stay strange in every world.
you were not born to impress them.

every place belongs to you my love.
you are the wanderer
the wanderer with the shine.
