The Wanderer's Song Poem by Parisha Shukla

The Wanderer's Song

I hop on and on, along these narrow streets—
I yearn and long for you, my Sweet.

You're walking,
speaking words as sweet as honey.
Tender as a half-bloomed marigold—
To my adoring eyes, you're a blooming garland.

Look at you, a budding blossom!
You are the warmth of a gentle embrace.
Like rust on iron, my longing grows with time...
Just for you,
Precious as a hidden pearl.

I hop on and on, along these narrow streets—
I yearn and long for you, my Sweet.

My heart, my universe, my whole life!
The scent of this woman drifts into my heart;
My wild rosebud!
The sight of this woman dazzles my eyes;
My shining star!
For a glimpse of you, the whole world fades away.
My Love, only you!
