The Waterfall Poem by David Gordon

The Waterfall

It's been just two days since she died
And since she has been gone.
She is no longer by his side,
But her love lingers on.
Her love, it is a waterfall,
So gentle, yet so strong.
Her tender love on which he calls
Is flowing all day long.
No matter what stands in its way,
This waterfall remains.
Her love's the same from day to day
Come snow or sun or rain.
This waterfall's a sign, you see
Of her unending love.
Close by his side she'll always be
Though she has gone above.
Its beauty is a sight for all,
A treasure to adore.
Today, there is a waterfall
That wasn't there before.
